Harley Shi Named GM to Shanghai Office

Conventus Polymers LLC, a leading distributor of high-performance engineering thermoplastics, has announced the appointment of Harley Shi as General Manager of Shanghai Conventus Polymers New Materials Co., LTD, based in Shanghai. He will support greater China in key markets, working with resin producers, compounders and converters supporting supply chain solutions, material selection, and problem solving.
Harley’s experience in plastics spans nearly two decades. Prior to joining Conventus, his career has included positions at AWM Mold Swiss Technology (Technical Representative), Husky Injection Molding Systems (Technical Service and Account Manager), Ashland Distribution / Nexeo Solutions (Technical and Marketing Manager), Bayer Material Science / Covestro (Key Project Manager), Polymer Technology & Services (Business Development Manager), and Ravago Asia (PC and TPE Product Manager).
He attained his bachelor’s degree in Materials Science at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in China, and master’s degree in business from the BI Norwegian Business School (Bedriftøkonomisk Institutt).
